The current Level and Game are clearly displayed in the top right corner of the poker tournaments table screen. All players can easily see the exact stage of the tournament they are currently playing.

Click for levels and blinds schedules of 1-on-1 Heads Up Tournaments.

Each of the first seven levels in Hold'em or Omaha will last 10 games. The final level (8th Level) goes until the winner is declared. 7 card stud plays up to 10 levels.

9. All poker tournaments start automatically once all 10 or 8 players have been seated.

10. At the start of the poker tournaments, each player is dealt one card face up. The player receiving the highest card gets the dealer button for the first hand. A tie in high card is broken by suits based on the following order: spades, hearts, diamonds and clubs.

11. When only two players are remaining in Hold'em or Omaha poker tournaments, the small blind has the button and acts first before the flop. This rule is a standard heads-up (1-on-1) poker rule.

12. Each betting round consists of one bet, and up to a maximum of three raises (four bets total).

13. With only two players remaining in any hand, there is a maximum of five raises (six bets total).

14. In Texas Hold'em or Omaha poker tournaments, if a player who is the small blind is eliminated, the button does not move. This ensures the big blind is not missed by the next player in order. If a player who is the big blind is eliminated, the button moves and one player receives the benefit of not posting the big blind for that round. All players have an equal opportunity to benefit from this scenario.

15. There will be no breaks. Poker tournaments continue straight through until one player has all the chips and is declared the winner.

16. When a player loses all their chips they are declared out of the tournament and finish in the order they were eliminated. Example: In a 10 player tournament if you are the third player eliminated, you are declared as finishing in 8th place.

17. If more than one player is eliminated in the same hand, the player with the most chips before the hand started finishes higher. In the case where both players also have the same amount of chips before the hand, both players will tie for the position. If there is a tie between two or more players, the prizes they qualify for are split evenly between all tied players. For example, if two players tie for 2nd place, each player receives 50% of the second place prize and 50% of the third place prize.

18. Pirates Of Poker will not assist in any deals among players during poker tournaments. Poker tournaments continue until there is one declared winner and the payoffs will be exactly according to the prize pay out structure.

19. Each player should play with the same intensity against all other players. There should be no soft playing.

20. There are no chip race-offs. All players will play with all their chips until either they lose all their chips or win the tournament.

21. During play in any of the poker tournaments, if a player loses their connection, and they have All-In protection and also have chips at stake in the hand, they are declared All-In based on the All-In rules. Full details regarding All-Ins can be found near the bottom of the game how to play page.

22. IMPORTANT: Without an All-In, if a player does not re-connect or does not act, their hands are automatically folded every single hand and their blinds are posted automatically when it is their turn. Eventually the player is "blinded out" if they do not re-connect back to the poker tournaments table.

23. Players must understand and accept the risk of internet disconnections, as they can and do occur. If a player is not connected before a hand starts, they will be dealt cards and then folded automatically. If they are required to post a blind and are not connected, their blind is posted automatically and their hand folded (unless they have an All-In). Again, this continues until the player is fully connected and back in the poker tournaments.

24. Intentionally going All-In is grounds for dismissal from any of the poker tournaments and being banned from Pirates Of Poker.

25. In the rare and unlikely event of a server problem, all poker tournaments in play during the problem are deemed as cancelled. Once the server re-starts, we will refund the full Buy-In and entry fee of each poker player that was still in the tournaments at the time. In addition, each of these players will share in the prize pool accumulated from the players that were already eliminated from the poker tournaments. This payout is based on the player's proportion of chips compared to all other remaining players. This resolution treats all players fairly. If a player was eliminated from any of the poker tournaments before the server problem, they are considered "out of the tournament" and do not receive an entry fee refund or any portion of the prize pool.

26. Railbird chat privileges for players watching any of the poker tournaments will be removed if any abusive or harassing language is used.

27. Management decisions are final.

Good Luck and Enjoy the Poker Tournaments!
